History of the company started in 1920 when Zefferino Monini, following his instinct and having a sense of his own organizational abilities, started a company specialized in foodstuffs in Spoleto in Umbria. He was immediately successful and his sales area expanded to the nearby regions of Lazio, Marche and Romagna.
During the war production was interrupted since the product was rationed. In '45, thanks to the deregulation of food products, production started back up with a renewed energy.
In 1950 anticipating the future demands of the market, the first bottles were introduced alongside the traditional demijohns.
In 1964 the new company headquarters were inaugurated so as to equip the business with the improved technological, qualitative and service standards.
Now the company is managed by the founder's grandchildren, Zefferino Monini and his sister Maria Flora Monini, Giuseppe's children, who have already been working for the company for years.
In the internet era and with the fast evolution of technology, the Monini Family is working passionately and skilfully in order to offer you the best quality in a multitude of authentic and consistent flavours over time.
